On Friday, September 30th, Digital Hope hosted our first #digitalhope chat on Twitter. The topic was "The Power of Social Media for Nonprofits." Nonprofit pros like @ChicagoCares, @letsGoSO, @creativegoround, and @MatthewSm1th joined the conversation along with other Twitter all-stars to discuss the role of social media in nonprofit organizations.

The process of planning international humanitarian projects is amazing. Every single conversation is a window in to a part of the world that we can't even wrap our heads around at first. One such episode happened this morning when we were talking to an orphanage / school in southwest Costa Rica.
